Cory's commitment to his community is evident from his involvement in various charitable organizations. He served as the President of the Greene County United Way and on its Board of Directors. He also served as a Director for the Pennsylvania State Treasurers Association and is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association. Cory received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from Waynesburg University, and holds the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) certification.

Cory and his wife, Laura Marquis-Grandel, reside in the Southeastern Greene area and have two adult children. They enjoy traveling, cycling, hunting, golfing, and hiking together. Cory's dedication to his clients, community, and family is a testament to his character and commitment to success.
